I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities so I can craft treatment towards your unique needs. I believe both emotional and physical safety are of the upmost importance when engaging in trauma work. We will work together to build resources, supports, coping skills, and insight that will help you to heal the distress you feel and improve your quality of life. When it is helpful or necessary, we will use an evidence based model to engage in trauma processing. This will help you to make sense of traumatic experiences, and reduce the distress associated with these painful memories. I use treatments that have been shown through science, research, and my own practice experience to be effective in resolving traumatic distress. I believe in meeting you where you are, and emphasize safety, respect, and connection throughout our time together. Trauma healing in a sacred journey that we will embark on together.
